Rafał Sikora, a talented Polish race walker has become an ambassador of the MOTIVE brand.

As an ambassador of the MOTIVE sports socks, Rafał Sikora will actively support our marketing and promotion activities and, at the same time, test and assess our sports socks during intensive training and tournaments. We believe that our cooperation will be mutually rewarding: we will be able to further improve our products and Rafał Sikora, thanks to our support, will be even better prepared for the next-year Olympic Games in London.

Rafał Sikora started his career at OTG Sokół Mielec, which he represented in the years 2001 - 2006. Since 2007 he has been associated with AZS AWF KRAKÓW. He debuted during the World Championships in Daegu, South Korea, finishing 13th in the 50-kilometre race walk and being the only Pole to finish the distance. He has qualified to the London 2012 Olympic Games on two distances: 20 and 50 kilometres. He is coached by Krzysztof Kisiel, who used to be the coach of Robert Korzeniowski, winner of four Olympic medals in race walking.

The biggest success for Rafał Sikora in Poland came in 2009 when he became the Polish national champion in the 50-kilometer race walk and broke the European record in a 50-kilometer race walk in the Under-23 category. He has won several titles of the Polish Junior Champion in race walk and holds the Polish record in a 5-kilometer walk of younger juniors. He won the bronze medal in a 20-kilometer team race walk in the European Cup Race Walking (Metz 2009) and was seventh in the World Youth Championships in Canada (Sherbrooke 2003).
